After showering, I step in front of the mirror and take an assessment of the body standing before me. I look at the front, back, and side view. It’s only been two weeks of clean eating and I’m looking at myself in the mirror, hoping for a glimpse of progress. I see no visible signs. And with a sigh, I dress and carry-on with my day.
I’m sure that this example is not exclusive to me. And I’m also very sure that they’ll be more days that this will happen. But there will also be days when I stand in the mirror and I will see and feel some progress.
In a world where many try to get fast results by seeking alternative weight loss products, pills, and teas; I will continue to focus on a lifestyle change. For now, I’m practicing patience and trusting the process. Clean eating + exercise will yield weight loss.
